Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter, and they’ve been going wild over a 12-second clip of Tanguy Ndombélé bossing Chelsea.
The footage shows the Frenchman wriggling away from Tammy Abraham and N’Golo Kante before finding Steven Bergwijn with a pass at Stamford Bridge.
It also shows Ndombélé skilfully evading Kante – once again – and Thiago Silva with a fantastic bit of dribbling in west London.
The short footage effectively summed up the best parts of the £53.8 million man’s game. The 23-year-old loves to dribble with the ball, but it’s the fact that he’s nearly press-resistant that makes him so important.
High-energy teams such as Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool presumably wouldn’t go near him, as the £200,000-a-week maestro can burst away from any challenge and begin a counter-attack for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Two supporters below compared Ndombélé to ex-Spurs man Mousa Dembele, who also played in a press-resistant style.
After a stagnating debut campaign under both Mauricio Pochettino and Mourinho, the Longjumeau-born midfielder is appearing to understand what the Portuguese coach wants from him.

That is resulting in some fine displays from Ndombélé, who is catching the eye on a near-weekly basis nowadays.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans have been saying about the clip…
