The Tottenham Hotspur player has moved on loan to Germany.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has been speaking to Schalke’s official website after completing a loan move to the Bundesliga club earlier this summer.
The Algeria international was always likely to leave White Hart Lane in the recent transfer window given his struggles last season and the competition for places now at the club. And so it proved, as he headed to the German side with a permanent move likely next summer.

Bentaleb’s arrival at Schalke sees him reunite with former Tottenham teammate Benjamin Stambouli, who himself moved to Germany after a 12-month spell at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Frenchman’s time at Spurs did not go according to plan, with the midfielder making only 25 appearances before moving back to his homeland.

Now he has the chance to form a new midfield partnership with Bentaleb and it is something the latter briefly spoke about in his recent interview with schalke04.de.
“We have already played together at Tottenham and know how each other works,” Bentaleb said. “The grounds are perhaps already there for something further down the line.”
When Bentaleb first burst onto the scene in North London he looked like being a Tottenham star in time, but with things not working out that way he now has the chance to get back to his best in Germany before seeing what the future holds.
