Darren Bent has said on talkSPORT that he does not think that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy will sell Harry Kane to Graham Potter’s Chelsea.
The former Tottenham striker believes that Levy would prefer to sell Kane to Manchester United to transfer him to Chelsea even if the Red Devils made a lower bid.
The Arsenal-supporting pundit made the comments about the £200,000-a-week (SalarySport) England international striker while discussing his future and whether or not he will sign a new deal.
Kane has been on the books of Tottenham his entire professional club football career so far and is under contract at the North London club until the summer of 2024.
Tottenham won’t sell Harry Kane to Chelsea
Bent said about Kane: “Let’s say Chelsea come in. Man United bid £70 million and if Chelsea bid £80 million, is he going to sell Harry Kane to Chelsea? Absolutely not.”

Spurs stay
In our opinion, Harry Kane could end up staying at Tottenham Hotspur for the rest of his career.
The striker seems happy at Tottenham now after getting over his disappointment at not joining Manchester City.
The 29-year-old is scoring goals and is a key figure at Spurs.
If Tottenham finish in the Premier League top four this season and continue to build with head coach Antonio Conte, then Kane could decide to commit his long-term future to the North London club.
