Leeds United winger Raphinha was the bane of West Ham United on Saturday – and in particular, Said Benrahma
The Brazilian attacker opened the scoring in the first half, stroking past Lukasz Fabianski to give Leeds a 1-0 lead at the break.
But just before the break, the Whites trickster set up another chance for the Elland Road and it came through making a fool of the West Ham star.
Raphinha nutmegged the Hammers attacker, before Leeds fans blared out ‘behind you!’ in unison, according to the Optus Sport commentator Rob Palmer.
He said live on Optus Sport commentary: “Beautiful from Raphinha. ‘Behind you’ was the cry from the Leeds fans. Benrahma will hate that!”
After the break
Marcelo Bielsa’s side could and probably should have fattened their advantage early in the second half, with Raphinha missing a gilt-edged chance for a brace.
And Leeds ultimately paid the penalty because Jarrod Bowen’s shot took a double deflection off Liam Cooper and Junior Firpo and wrong-footed the superb Illan Meslier shortly afterwards.
Benrahma might’ve hated the nutmeg, but he’d have loved the result and that’s because Michail Antonio scored a brilliant last-minute winner to ensure that fans of the West Yorkshire club still haven’t seen their side win home or way in the Premier League yet this season.
