Though Tottenham Hotspur’s recent Premier League encounter with Swansea City may not have yielded a single goal, their respective under-23 sides made up for it on Monday, sharing four between them.
Japhet Tanganga’s own goal put Swansea ahead in Stevenage, before Kazaiah Sterling equalised for Wayne Burnett’s side.

Oli McBurnie – who could have been playing for Barnsley against Tottenham’s first team on Tuesday but for a missing signature on his loan contract – then restored the visitors’ advantage, but Spurs substitute Keanan Bennetts saved his side a point late on.
Bennetts scored his first goal of the season against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Youth League last week – a superb solo effort – and this one may be as good.

Picking up the ball a little closer to goal this time, the 18-year-old managed to wrong-foot three defenders en route to the edge of the box, where he unleashed a fierce shot into the far corner of Gregor Zabret’s goal.
