Inter Miami interim coach Javi Morales has tipped Benjamin Cremaschi for a big future after the teenager’s first professional goal against DC United.
Speaking to the Miami Herald, the 43-year-old Argentine was full of praise for the Florida-born talent, with Morales saying after Cremaschi’s first goal: “I’m so proud of Benja not just for that goal, but for how he played the last few games, that’s the Benja I know. He has such a bright future, 18 years old. I’m so happy for him and his family.”
Due to injuries, Inter Miami were forced to start four homegrown players against Wayne Rooney’s DC United. However, the decision proved to be an inspired one, with Cremaschi and fellow teenager Noah Allen both scoring their first MLS goals in the US capitol.

Whilst Inter Miami’s wait for a first win since May continues on, Cremaschi’s goal is a notable highlight for Inter Miami in recent weeks, with the midfielder grabbing headlines at the right time for the Florida franchise ahead of Lionel Messi’s arrival.
Indeed, Cremaschi is one of numerous Inter Miami players who has the potential to become starters for the club under Tata Martino. And with an influx of superstars heading to south Florida later this month, the 18-year-old is already standing out from the pack.
