Benito Carbone has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn winning the Championship Goal of the Month for September for his strike against Sheffield Wednesday.
McGinn, who joined Villa from Hibernian in the summer transfer window, scored a stunning goal against Wednesday at Villa Park in the Championship on September 22.
As reported on Skysports.com, that strike from the 24-year-old Scotland international midfielder has been voted as the best goal in the Championship for the month of September.
Former Villa forward Carbone has taken to Twitter to give his take on McGinn winning the award.

McGinn has been superb for Villa since his move from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian in the summer transfer window.
The former St. Mirren star has scored one goal and provided three assists in 12 Championship appearances for the Villans so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
