Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has hailed his side’s ability to score from all over the pitch, and spoke how his side are a threat from all areas, as reported by the club’s official website.
The Spaniard has overseen an impressive turnaround of form on Tyneside, after the Magpies began life slowly in the Championship with back-to-back defeats.
They have gone on to win five consecutive league games, and now sit second in the league table following Tuesday night’s 6-0 victory at Queens Park Rangers.

Benitez highlighted how his side’s goals have been evenly dispersed as evidence of how they are a threat from everywhere on the pitch, as reported by nufc.co.uk:
“I think it is important for us to have different players scoring goals. It means that we can be a threat in different areas: corners, free-kicks, even shooting from outside the box.”
Newcastle have scored 16 Championship goals this term, and Benitez’s point is confirmed by those goals being spread out amongst 11 different goal scorers.
