The striker joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan on transfer deadline day.

Benik Afobe joined Wolves from Bournemouth on loan for the remainder of the season on transfer deadline day, and he shared something that highlighted just how confident he was that he would seal a switch to Molineux, during an exclusive interview with the Express & Star.
The 24-year-old spent a successful year in the Black Country with Wolves three seasons ago , scoring 22 goals in 46 Championship outings for his club.

He joined the Cherries in 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £10 million, but he has struggled to establish himself on the south coast, scoring just 11 goals in all competitions for Eddie Howe’s men.
Afobe spoke exclusively to the Express & Star, expressing how happy he is following his return to Molineux, and opened up on how he made a video showing clips of him scoring for Wolves during his previous spell with the club:

“I was that sure of coming back I made a video of clips of me scoring Wolves goals to put on Instagram a week before deadline day.”
The Black Country outfit currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, 11 points clear of second placed Derby County, and with Afobe now on board, they will take some stopping as they continue to bulldozer their way back to the Premier League.
