Celtic were keen on Chris Willock in the summer.

Celtic fans may want to pay attention to the latest developments surrounding summer target Chris Willock.
The Sun reported last year that Willock was a target as a Patrick Roberts alternative, before his decision to quit Arsenal led to him choosing to sign with Benfica.
Willock has spent the first part of the season in Benfica’s B team, and is now reportedly available for loan, The Mirror and Express reported last week.

Newcastle were reported to be interested along with a handful of English Championship sides, and it would be a no-brainer for Celtic to re-join the hunt.
Their interest in Willock is already established and that could help Brendan Rodgers get his man.
The former Arsenal talent is an England youth international and plays as a winger.
He was lined up as an alternative for Patrick Roberts, and with the Manchester City loanee currently injured for the next couple of months, there is potentially a place for him in the Celtic side.
In doing so they could lay down the groundwork for a permanent deal in the future if Benfica do not find room for him in their first team.
It would be a shame for Celtic to miss out and not take a low risk gamble on the promising talent.
