Steve Bruce’s Aston Villa side have been linked with the pair in recent times.

Ben Woodburn would be a great addition for Aston Villa, but Charlie Adam should be passed up.
Villa have had a tendency to sign veteran players in recent years, and those transfer plans have rather backfired lately.
The claret and blues were plunged into financial troubles, with the wages they were paying proving to be problematic.
The additions of the likes of John Terry and Mile Jedinak unquestionably improved Villa, but Ross McCormack and Micah Richards are sat in the reserves on huge contracts.
If Villa signed Adam it would prove that nothing around the club had changed, and it is hard to see exactly what he would offer Steve Bruce’s side that they don’t already have.

Woodburn, on the other hand, could be an excellent addition to Villa’s squad.
The Liverpool forward is said to be on the verge of a move to Villa Park, according to the Telegraph.
Woodburn would offer Villa pace, energy and a youthful exuberance in their attack, which was missing at times last term.
And if Woodburn could work in tandem with Andre Green on either flank, then things could start to look very exciting for the claret and blues.
