Heart of Midlothian manager Robbie Neilson has told The Scotsman that Liverpool midfielder Ben Woodburn wants to join his team.
Neilson has said that Hearts are still in talks with Liverpool over the signing of Woodburn on loan until January.
The midfielder himself wants to make the temporary switch to Hearts, claims Neilson.
What Robbie Neilson has said
The Hearts boss told The Scotsman about Woodburn: “We are still negotiating with them and trying to get something done.
“He’s keen to come and we’re keen to get him, but he’s a Liverpool player at the moment, so we need to wait for them to make a decision.
“He’s a player we have been watching for a while now and we are trying to get in, but the deal is not done, so we just have to wait and see.”

What is Liverpool’s stance?
The Scotsman have reported that Wales international Woodburn has actually agreed terms for a loan move to Scottish Premiership club Hearts.
However, it is Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp who is holding up the transfer.
Klopp reportedly does not want to let the 21-year-old leave right now.

Why?
Well, the Liverpool boss thinks that he may need the 21-year-old for upcoming games against Burnley and Chelsea due to injury problems.
Loan exit inevitable
It seems that it is only a matter of time before Woodburn joins Hearts from Liverpool.
It makes sense for Klopp to delay the loan deal as long as possible if that benefits his team.
However, with personal terms having reportedly been agreed, it is inevitable that Woodburn will join Hearts before the summer transfer window closes.
