Ben White has urged Arsenal fans on Instagram to look at the ‘positives’ after their goalless draw against Burnley on Sunday.

The Arsenal defender shared that it was ‘another clean sheet’ for the Gunners, despite their dropped points on home soil.

Mikel Arteta’s side were knocked out of the League Cup in midweek, so the mood around the Emirates wasn’t exactly an uplifting one.

A few goals and three points was the medicine required to lift the Arsenal supporters, but the home team couldn’t provide that in what was a lacklustre display in front of goal.

After the match, White sent this message to the Arsenal supporters.

“Wanted more today,” said White. “But got to look at the positives. Another clean sheet.

“Thank you again for your support. Little break now, see you guys soon.”

Arsenal are one point behind fourth-placed Manchester United in the Premier League table, but they have one game in hand on their rivals.

But Tottenham, who were beaten by Chelsea yesterday, are level on points with their north London rivals having played a game less.

All in all, with so many games being postponed due to COVID, it’s hard to gauge who is in control of this race to finish fourth.

It could be argued from Man United in fourth to Wolves in eighth, they will all feel that they can secure that Champions League spot.
