Ben White has raved about Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka on talkSPORT.
The Brighton and Hove Albion defender has said that he did not think that Saka is as good as he is.
White is England international teammates with Saka, and both players are playing at the Euro 2020 finals.
Interestingly, the 23-year-old former Leeds United loanee has been linked with Arsenal.
The Guardian have reported that Arsenal have made a second bid of £45 million plus £5 million in add-ons for the defender.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Duncan Castles has said on the Transfer Window Podcast that it is Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta who is driving interest in the England international.
White said about Saka on talkSPORT: “He’s been unbelievable in training. I didn’t think he was as good as he was. Right foot, left foot. He can go either way. He can shoot. He’s been really good.”
Wonderful footballer
Saka is a wonderful footballer who has already established himself as a big player for Arsenal.
And he is only 19.
What is remarkable about Saka is that he can play in a number of positions.
The England international can operate as a winger, left-back and central midfielder.
Tierney made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal last season.
The teenager scored five goals and gave three assists in those games.
White is clearly a fan of Saka, and that bodes well for Arsenal in regard to them signing the 23-year-old.
