Danny Welbeck has sent a message to Ben White on Instagram following the defender’s decision to move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Ben White joins Arsenal
Arsenal announced on their official website today that they have signed former Leeds United loanee White.
The 23-year-old defender has joined Arsenal on a long-term contract from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Gunners have reportedly paid the Seagulls £50 million in transfer fees for White, who can also play as a right-back or in midfield.

As you can see below, former Arsenal striker Welbeck is pleased to see White make the move to the Gunners.
The 30-year-old English striker played with White at Brighton last season.

Welbeck was on the books of Arsenal from 2014 until 2019 when he left for Watford.
The 30-year-old still seems to have an affection for the Gunners, and he is clearly happy that White has earned a move to Arsenal.
Welbeck will know just how big Arsenal are and how much the fans love players who succeed at the Emirates Stadium.
White is only 23 and has played just one season in the Premier League, but the former Leeds loanee was part of the England squad that reached the Euro 2020 final his summer.
