Leeds United signed up Marcelo Bielsa to another year.

Leeds United announced major news on Tuesday.
The Championship club confirmed that it had signed up head coach Marcelo Bielsa for another year in West Yorkshire.
Bielsa, who joined Leeds last summer, took the Whites to the playoffs but a semi-final defeat by Derby County spoiled their hopes of ending their 15-year exile from the Premier League.
But their failure to attain promotion prompted concern, particularly among the fans, that Bielsa would quit Elland Road.
Since joining, the Argentine has captured the imagination of United fans with his brand of football and eccentric behaviour.
Here’s how former Leeds man Ben Parker, who works with LUTV, reacted to the announcement:
Bielsa’s side finished with 83 points last term – their highest tally since 2010, when they won promotion from League One.
Really, they should have gone up this past season. Leeds were second with only a handful of games left, but a disastrous Easter period, resulting in back-to-back defeats by Wigan Athletic and Brentford, saw Sheffield United pip them to the last automatic promotion spot.
