Samu Saiz has become a fan favourite at Leeds since his summer move from Spanish side Huesca.

Former Leeds United defender Ben Parker has told the club’s official website that summer signing Samu Saiz is adored by the Elland Road faithful as he continues to provide the creative spark in Thomas Christiansen’s side.
Saiz, 26, was crucial in Leeds’ 2-1 win over Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon, linking up with the likes of Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Gjanni Alioski to form a deadly front four that put Boro to the sword.
The Spaniard, who joined Leeds this summer from La Liga outfit Huesca, is expected to start once again in Christiansen’s side on Wednesday night as the Whites travel to Molineux to face league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Speaking to LUTV after Sunday’s win, Parker heaped praise on Saiz and joked that the player’s neat footwork would send him into an early retirement as well as stating that the fans “absolutely love him”.
“Unreal. I’d like him in my team, rather than play against him put it that way,” Parker said. “If he was a right-winger against me I think I’d be nearly retired. What a player; you can see the fans absolutely love him and rightly so.
“When he gets the ball, you expect things to happen and nine times out of 10 they actually do. His work ethic is fantastic, he’s head and shoulders above most people on the pitch.”

Making 17 appearances in all competitions, the former Atletico Madrid ace has scored eight goals for the Yorkshire giants as well as adding four goals in assists since his move to Elland Road this summer.
Leeds currently sit in ninth position in the Championship but three points would be enough to see them climb back into the top six, if they can secure an unlikely win against Wolves.
Parker, 30, is currently playing for National League North side Harrogate Town, after a nightmare spell at Elland Road with injury ended any chance of becoming a Leeds United regular.
