Burnley take on Everton and Lukaku at Turf Moor this weekend.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Burnley defender Ben Mee has described Everton forward Romelu Lukaku as one of the best in the Premier League.
The Clarets host The Toffees at Turf Moor this weekend looking to bounce back from defeats in their last two games.
To do so they will have to stop Lukaku finding the back of the net, with the Belgian already having managed six goals in the league this season.
Last weekend saw him arguably score his best of the season yet as he bagged a superb solo effort in the draw with Manchester City.
And Mee is more than aware of the danger that the Belgian poses, but insists they will not have a special plan to stop him.
“I look forward to playing up against him. Obviously, he’s in form at the minute, he’s one of the best strikers in the Premier League for sure,” he told the Liverpool Echo.
“We look at every team we play so it’s no different, we haven’t got anything special lined-up it’s just going to be pitting our wits against him I guess.”
Burnley are currently 14th in the table with seven points from their first eight games.
A win over the Toffees this weekend could see them move as high as 12th in the table, which would be a good place to be in at this stage of the season.
Everton, meanwhile, are currently sixth in the table with 15 points from their first eight games and could move as high as third with a win at Turf Moor.
