Youngster Ben Johnson has put pen to paper on a professional deal with West Ham.

West Ham United teenager Ben Johnson has told fans he is “delighted” on Twitter after putting pen to paper on his first professional contract with the club.
Johnson, 18, who was born in January 2000, has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Hammers after impressing in the east Londoners’s second string this season.
The right-back has made seven Premier League 2 appearances, helping the club beat Manchester United and Manchester City’s reserves as well as proving solid in a 0-0 draw against Chelsea.
His performances have even caught the eye of David Moyes, who called him up to the senior squad to remain as an unused substitute during the 2-1 loss to Manchester City’s first team in December.
Johnson reacted on Twitter by posting a video that shows him signing a contract.
Yet to make a first-team appearance, Johnson will be buoyed by the fact that Moyes has handed the likes of Declan Rice, Toni Martinez, Reece Burke, Reece Oxford and Josh Cullen chances to shine this season.
West Ham fans reacted to Johnson’s tweet, with many congratulating the youngster on signing a professional deal. Some fans even predicted a first-team bow sooner rather than later.
