Jonas Olsson has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to West Bromwich Albion.

Olsson has left Premier League club West Brom to return to his native Sweden and play for Djurgarden IF.

The 34-year-old centre-back had been at the Baggies for over nine years and had established himself as an important figure for the team.

During his time at The Hawthorns, the Sweden international scored 14 goals in 253 appearances.

Olsson has taken to Twitter to send a message to the West Brom fans, with Baggies goalkeeper Ben Foster sending him a farewell message on the social networking site.

West Brom are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 43 points from 29 matches.

The Baggies will return to action next weekend when they take on Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Tony Pulis’s side are having a good season and should be able to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League.
