West Bromwich Albion lost against Swansea City in the Premier League at the weekend.
West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Swansea City at the weekend.
The Baggies went down 2-1 to Swansea away from home at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The defeat means that Tony Pulis’s side have ended the 2016-17 Premier League campaign in 10th place with 45 points from 38 matches.
The performance of West Brom against Swansea was disappointing, but goalkeeper Foster, who joined the Baggies from Birmingham City on a permanent contract in the summer of 2012 for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £4 million, has suggested on Twitter that finishing in the top 10 of the Premier League should be considered as an achievement.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday afternoon, hosts Swansea had 66% of the possession, took 12 shots of which two were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors West Brom had 34% of the possession, took 16 shots of which five were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
