Ben Foster has labelled Moise Kean as an ‘enigma’ after Everton parted ways with him this summer.

The English goalkeeper told his own YouTube channel that ‘some teams must not like’ the 21-year-old because of the several loan spells he has had during his career.

Kean was on loan at PSG last season, and now, he has joined Juventus on a two-year loan deal, with an obligation to buy him for £24 million, as reported by BBC Sport.

It just didn’t work out for Kean on Merseyside, and even though Everton needed more depth in goals prior to Salamon Rondon’s arrival on deadline day, they were happy to let their 2019 signing go.

This is what Foster had to say about Kean and the mystery around the striker.

“He is definitely some sort of an enigma,” said Foster. “I haven’t got a clue about the Moise Kean situation and story, or whatever it is.

“There’s something about him that some teams must not like. He has been at Juventus, he has been at PSG, at Everton and has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in the world.

“He keeps getting loans back and forth between these teams. Then he will go to them, he might not play and might get a game here and there. Then he might score a goal or two.

“But he never seems to be the kind of guy that can just settle himself down. I am really interested to see how he does at Juventus.”

Given that Kean started at Juventus, then Everton were happy to pay big money for him and PSG signed him up last term.

Then the Italian must have something to his game that keeps attracting these big teams to his talents.

It needs to be remembered that he is only 21, so he has plenty of years left in his tank to mature and take his game to much higher levels.

But following the departure of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo, it seems as though Kean has been brought in to fill his boots.

That’s some weight on his shoulders, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he takes it in his stride and thrives in Turin.
