Liverpool fans have had the chance to welcome Ben Davies to their club directly, following his deadline-day move to Merseyside on Monday.
The Reds snapped up the 25-year-old defender in a £2 million deal from Preston North End on Monday.
Jurgen Klopp had an enormous headache with regards to centre-back options after Joel Matip joined Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez in being ruled out for the long term.
That meant that Nat Phillips – who has six Premier League games under his belt – was the club’s most senior and recognised central defender.
But Liverpool added Davies and Schalke loanee Ozan Kabak to the squad on the final day of the January transfer window.
Davies revealed on Twitter yesterday that it was an ‘honour’ to join the reigning Premier League champions and that he was champing at the bit to get started.
