Ben Davies is yet to start a game for Tottenham Hotspur this season.

Ben Davies has stated on Instagram that it’s ‘great’ to get ‘more minutes’ under his belt after Tottenham Hotspur beat Crystal Palace 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old has only played 16 minutes in the Premier League this season [transfermarkt], with Danny Rose starting every league game thus far.
With the game well and truly wrapped up against Palace, Mauricio Pochettino brought on Davies for the last 15 minutes, as he ensured that his team secured their first clean sheet of the season.
After the game, left-back Davies sent this message from his personal Instagram, as was pleased that Spurs secured all three points on the day.
The win means that Spurs have moved into the Premier League’s top-four and they will be hoping they can now go on a good run following indifferent performances in previous weeks.
It would be the right time for Pochettino’s players to pick up form because along with Premier League football, they will also begin their Champions League campaign next week and then their EFL Cup campaign.
Next Wednesday, the North London club will take on Olympiacos, as they are hopeful in going on yet another run to the Champions League final.
Tottenham were beaten by fellow Premier League side Liverpool in Madrid last term, and with Spurs keeping their best players and adding to their squad, they will be hoping to go one better this time around.
