Tottenham ace Ben Davies sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and raved about his teammate Moussa Sissoko, labelling him as one of the hardest workers in the team.

The France international joined Spurs on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £30 million, but he initially struggled to impress in north London.

He seems to have found his feet this season, however, and has played a key role for Tottenham over the past few weeks and months.

Sissoko is incredibly versatile, and can play anywhere along the midfield as well as more advanced positions, and Mauricio Pochettino has utilised the 29-year-old’s skills to great effect recently.

Davies spoke to the club’s official website about Sissoko fine form this term, and offered high words of praise for the former Newcastle United man:

“To have a player like Moussa is to have a player who when you are under pressure, you know he’s going to get on the end of things, work and chase everything. He’s one of the hardest workers in the team and he deserves all the plaudits he’s getting. He’s back in the France squad and that is one of the best squads in the world. We’re all delighted for him.”

Next up for Sissoko and Tottenham is a huge clash with Chelsea on Saturday, and the Frenchman will be hoping to help his team to another vitally important three points against Maurizio Sarri’s men.
