Ben Davies hopes Tottenham Hotspur’s trio of injured England internationals will be fresh for the North London derby.

As Sky Sports reports, Kane and Alli sat out of England’s friendlies against Germany and Brazil as they nursed hamstring concerns, while Winks withdrew from the squad because of an ankle problem.
According to Sky Sports, all three are expected to be fit for Tottenham’s trip to the Emirates Stadium, and full-back Davies is hopeful that Kane and company will return with an extra spring in their step.

“The boys have had a few niggles here and there,” Davies is quoted by Sky Sports as saying. “Sometimes these friendlies can be one game too much with the programme coming up.
“If it means they are fresh for us on the weekend then we can be happy for that.”
Davies was on international duty himself this week, playing twice for Wales against France and Panama.

The likes of Davinson Sanchez and Son Heung-min have travelled far and wide in order to play for their country, so the past fortnight has not been rest and recuperation for the whole Spurs squad.
Kane’s fitness is of paramount importance to Tottenham though. He has six goals in five games against Arsenal and is looking to become the first player to score in six successive North London derbies.
