Tottenham Hotspur are expected to challenge for major honours on all fronts this season.

Tottenham star Ben Davies spoke to reporters about his team’s start to the season, and shared how their ability to grind out results when not playing at their best is a sign that Spurs are a really good side, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs have made their best ever start to a Premier League campaign, and they currently sit in third place in the Premier League table, eight points adrift of league leaders Manchester City.
Despite the fact that Mauricio Pochettino didn’t sign a single player for Tottenham during the summer transfer window, the north London outfit actually seem like they have improved as a team.
Spurs haven’t always been at their scintillating best this season, however.
And that is something that Davies believes proves how much of a good side they are, considering the fact that they have still got results, as quoted by Football.London:

“I think we’ve been playing some really good football. We’ve had to grind it out in a few games, but it is a sign of a good team when you’re winning but you perhaps have been under the cosh. We’ve been good at that this year as well as putting in some really good performances, like the Chelsea game. I don’t know if our ability to grind out results is something new, but when you’re together with a team and have that good bond with the boys, you want to fight for everybody.”
Tottenham face Leicester today, and need a win in order to keep the pressure up on Manchester City above them in the table.
Beating City to the league title seems like an unrealistic aim for Spurs this season, however, and if they can finish inside the top four for the fourth consecutive season, that would surely constitute a job well done for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
