Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur’s Kyle Walker in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are in danger of losing Kyle Walker in the summer transfer window. According to a recent report in The London Evening Standard, the defender is keen on listening to offers after holding talks over his future.

Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in signing the 26-year-old right-back, according to The London Evening Standard.

Given Walker’s obvious quality and performances over the past three or so seasons, many Spurs fans will be worried about the future if the England international does leave White Hart Lane in the summer.

Ben Davies’s recent comments about Kieran Trippier, though, show that there is life beyond Walker. The 24-year-old left-back spoken highly of the 26-year-old Trippier, who is the second-choice right-back at Tottenham at the moment.

“As players, we’ve got every faith in him,” Davies told Tottenham’s official website about Trippier earlier this month.

“We think he’s a top, top player and if he comes into the side or whoever the manager picks to start, it doesn’t make a difference to the way we expect to play.”

Since joining Tottenham from Burnley in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £3.5 million, Trippier has made only a handful of Premier League appearances for Tottenham.

However, if Walker leaves Spurs in the summer transfer window, then it seems, according to Davies’s comments, that Trippier will be able to step up.
