Ben Davies has told The Daily Mail that he has no idea when Harry Kane will return for Tottenham Hotspur.

The 24-year-old hitman suffered an ankle injury in the 4-1 win at Bournemouth two weeks ago following a collision with Artur Boruc.

According to The Sun, Kane, who has 35 goals across all competitions for Tottenham this season, will be missing for a month, with that report coming out last week.

The England international was photographed without his protective boot and crutches on Sunday in a picture which encouraged some fans of the North London club.

“I haven’t really got a clue how long Harry’s injury is going to be. It looked a bad one on the pictures we saw after the game but I’m completely unaware of how long it is going to be,” he told The Daily Mail.

It goes without saying that the sooner Kane is back, the better.

Spurs have a huge clash with top-four rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, which comes too soon for the Lilywhites superstar, but so long as he is fit and firing for the visit of Manchester United in an FA Cup semi-final on April 21 then fans won’t be too worried.

The FA Cup represents Tottenham’s only shot at silverware this season, and winning it is far more likely with Kane than without him.
