Brendan Rodgers’s side have suffered a narrow 2-1 loss at the hands of Liverpool away from home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Sadio Mane put the home team in the lead in the 40th minute, and James Maddison restored parity for Leicester on 80 minutes.
Then in the fifth minute of injury time, James Milner scored from the penalty spot to wrap up all three points from the encounter for the European champions.
Chilwell has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at Leicester’s failure to win against Liverpool.
Interestingly, ahead of the match this afternoon, Chilwell disclosed that he turned down the chance to join Liverpool when he was 17 years of age.
The 22-year-old defender told Sky Sports that current Leicester manager Rodgers wanted to sign when he was a teenager, but he decided to focus on breaking into the first team at the Foxes instead.
