Ben Brereton was linked with Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United in the summer transfer window, and now the Blackburn Rovers star is reported to be on the radar of Sevilla.
TEAMtalk have reported that La Liga outfit Sevilla are looking at Brereton as a potential replacement for Youssef En-Nesyri.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal reportedly want striker En-Nesyri, and Sevilla want to sign Brereton to replace him.
Sevilla, who are fourth in the La Liga table at the moment and are playing in the Champions League this season, are planning a raid on Blackburn for the 22-year-old striker.
Regret for Leeds United?
RedGol in Chile reported in June that Leeds head coach Bielsa wanted to sign Brereton in the summer of 2021.
Bielsa had people scout the striker for him while he was in action for Chile at the 2021 Copa America.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.

However, it seems that Sevilla are now in the driving seat.
This will come as a blow for Leeds, especially as the Blackburn no. 22 is doing extremely well at the moment.
The former Nottingham Forest striker has scored 10 goals and provided one assist in 11 Championship games for Rovers so far this season.
Yes, Brereton is scoring in the Championship, but just look at Patrick Bamford and how he has made it big in the Premier League after succeeding in the second tier of English football.
