The Hull winger has had his say on his Newcastle United exit.
Hatem Ben Arfa has revealed that he will ‘not forget’ his controversial Newcastle exit after joining Hull City on loan on Deadline Day.
The 27-year-old was demoted to the Magpies’ reserve squad and eventually loaned out to Steve Bruce’s side after failing to win his place back in the Newcastle team.
And the Frenchman admits he will not forget how he wast treated, alluding to being placed in the reserves and having ‘all of the staff’ treat him with hostility.
Ben Arfa expanded by saying the situation is ‘difficult to explain’ and that he cannot go into much detail – but he says he is hurt by his treatment at St James’ Park.
“When they put you in the reserves, when they change your number during pre-season, when all of the staff are hostile to you, of which I cannot speak about today…
“It is difficult to explain but I will not forget,” Ben Arfa told French broadcaster Canal+.
As Opta stats show, Ben Arfa is yet to make his mark at Hull but has at least made a substitute appearance since joining the Tigers on loan.

Once the Frenchman is fully match fit, he may just improve on that tally, creating his first chance and perhaps even getting on the scoresheet himself.
Intriguingly, he did win one dribble during his 11 minutes on-field for Bruce’s men, which is the hallmark of Ben Arfa’s game.
