Speaking on the Premier League YouTube channel, Ruben Dias has been raving over Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho.
The Manchester City defender of course knows Moutinho from the Portugal national team, and he says that although he’s fantastic on the pitch, he’s simply different class in training.
Dias was playing a game where he had to name which Portuguese players were the best in a number of attributes you’d find on a FIFA Ultimate Team card, and when it came to passing, he knew exactly who he was picking.
“I will go with Moutinho. My friend, I have trained with him many times, and believe me, sometimes you know a player form the games, but when you train with him you really see the quality, and for me, Moutinho is top class on that matter,” Dias said.
The Manchester City defender clearly rates Moutinho very highly, and to be fair, we can understand why.
Moutinho may be ageing, but he’s still an absolute class act and while we see that on a weekly basis for Wolves, Dias says that he’s even better in training.
Wolves are certainly lucky to have a player of Moutinho’s quality in their ranks.
