Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini came on as a 70th minute substitute and inspired a Belgium 2-1 comeback
Thibaut Courtois 6 – Wasn’t called upon for much and was quite close for the penalty.
Toby Alderweireld 6 – Had a quiet game and didn’t necessarily have a lot to do.
Daniel van Buyten 5 – Didn’t show much faith at the back and certainly didn’t look like a defender to be afraid off.
Vincent Kompany 6 – Fairly solid game from the Manchester City man, did what was needed when called upon, but did nothing outstanding either.
Jan Vertonghen 5 – Awful challenge for the penalty, and made a few mistakes, showed a definite lack of match practice.
Moussa Dembélé 5 – Completely missing throughout the game and showed no forward drive like he does so well for Tottenham Hotspur.
Axel Witsel 7 – Played fairly well despite a missing midfield around him, challenged the keeper from far with great shots on target.
Kevin De Bruyne 6 – Tried his best but failed to make an impact, struggled to gain a grip of the game.
Nacer Chadli 4 – Was non-existent throughout the first half and there was no surprise to see him subbed at half-time.
Eden Hazard 6 – Finally started to be a threat towards the end of the game but did very little early on.
Romelu Lukaku 5 – Never did much at all, but wasn’t his fault. Lukaku was feeding on scraps all game.

Dries Mertens 7 – Didn’t do a lot straight away, but as the game grew on the half-time substitute really started to impose himself and ended up grabbing the winner.
Divock Origi 7 – This 19-year-old just upped whatever price tag he currently has. Coming out of nowhere Origi put a real spark into Belgium’s attacking force.
Marouane Fellaini 8 – Played a pivotal role in turning this game around, brilliant goal and caused countless problems. Looked nothing like the same player that was wearing a United shirt last season.
