Kevin Mirallas hasn’t played a Premier League game since Marco Silva took over at Everton.

Everton outcast Kevin Mirallas could be set for a return to Belgium with Royal Antwerp and Club Brugge keen to tie up a deal before the transfer window slams shut, according to SudInfo.

It is no secret that Mirallas has no future at Goodison Park. He has not played a single competitive game since Marco Silva arrived on Merseyside after all and, after returning from an underwhelming loan spell at Fiorentina, finds himself stuck behind Richarlison, Moise Kean, Bernard, Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott in the pecking order.

He’s even lost his number 11 shirt, just to rub salt into the wounds.

Voetbal 24 claimed recently that Everton had lowered their demands in an attempt to get Mirallas off the wage bill while a player with 60 caps for his country was desperate to seal a return to his homeland.

He could be in luck too.

SudInfo reports that, while Anderlecht and Standard Liege have passed up on the chance to bring Mirallas back to Belgium, there is interest in the shape of Antwerp and Brugge.

Interestingly, Brugge are also keen to sign Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama with manager Philippe Clement admitting to Het Nieuwsblad that the Kenyan powerhouse was a ‘priority’. Clearly, last season’s Jupiler League runners-up are aiming high.
