There has been a lot of apathy from West Ham United fans to the appointment of David Moyes as the club’s new manager.

Slaven Bilic was sacked with West Ham languishing in the Premier League relegation zone and Moyes was quickly named as his replacement on an initial six month contract.
Fans have voiced their anger at Hammers owners David Sullivan and David Gold and feel the appointment lacks ambition.
Indeed many supporters feel their predicament could actually get worse under Moyes, who was relegated with Sunderland last season.
Media outlets have been quick to quiz Moyes over whether he will play the ‘West Ham way’ with the suggestion it is all about tippy, tappy attacking football.

But the West Ham way is as much about hard work and playing for the claret and blue shirt as flair and fans have been impressed by Moyes’ bullish interviews so far.
If the Hammers faithful need anymore convincing, though, they should listen to Belgian international and former Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj who played under Moyes at both Sunderland and Old Trafford.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Januzaj has reassured West Ham fans Moyes is the right man for the job.
“He’s a good manager,” Januzaj told Sky Sports.

“Obviously it’s been difficult for him too. I’m happy for him because it’s a nice move and I hope everything goes well for him.
“He likes to play good football. It’s not easy sometimes, it depends on the squad. People have to trust him because he’s done it at Everton for a long time.”
Moyes will have to prove that from the off as the Hammers take on Watford, Leicester and Everton before a daunting run of fixtures against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
