Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to respond to a Leeds fan, who sent him a strongly worded message about the sacking of Marcelo Bielsa.

What’s the story?

Well, one Leeds supporter named Dave Codd told Radrizzani that he had “behaved very very badly” in his treatment of Bielsa.

Interestingly, the Italian did not react negatively, as he agreed with Codd when admitting that he could’ve handled things better.

You can see the Twitter exchange in full below.

In our view, Radrizzani deserves credit for engaging with fans.

After making a hugely unpopular decision, it would’ve been easy for the 47-year-old to hide and wait for the backlash to die down.

However, he has come out and explained the thought process behind the Argentine’s departure from Elland Road.

In the modern era, not many owners would do this, so as unpopular as Radrizzani may be right now, he deserves praise for replying to Codd.

Leeds must move on from Marcelo Bielsa

In our view, Leeds shouldn’t have sacked Bielsa.

The Premier League is seriously difficult, and it could take Jesse Marsch a number of games to settle in, adapt to the intensity and get his tactical approach across – Leeds don’t have that time to spare.

However, the decision has been made now, and Leeds fans must move on.

Marsch already has a very tough job on his hands, and it will certainly be made harder if the Elland Road faithful are against him from day one.

Of course, Bielsa is a God in Yorkshire, but Marsch wasn’t the one who sacked him, so he deserves the full support of Elland Road.
