Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez has told Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez to ‘behave’ himself ahead of Argentina’s World Cup opener against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, as he posted on his Instagram story.
The popular Manchester United defender isn’t nicknamed ‘the Butcher’ for no reason and even a certain Aston Villa winger knows a thing or two about that.
During Villa’s 3-1 win over Erik ten Hag’s side earlier this month, Martinez was accused by Leon Bailey of elbowing him twice during the game, which resulted in him not being able to breathe.

Villa keeper Emi Martinez was on the other side of his fellow countryman that day, but now they will be going into battle together in Qatar.
But, ahead of the Copa America winners announcing themselves on the world’s biggest stage, Martinez warned his namesake to ‘behave well, eh’ and pointed a red card at the player whilst doing so.
ARGENTINA ONE OF THE WORLD CUP FAVOURITES
With the Copa America trophy on the table, one of the greatest players the world has ever seen, one of the best Argentina teams in recent times and a 36-game unbeaten run.
This is a mixture not to be messed with ahead of a six-week goal bonanza in the Middle East where the world’s best teams and stars will showcase their talent.
For some, it would be the ultimate dream if it’s Lionel Messi meeting a certain Cristian Ronaldo in the final, but that’s probably a script for Hollywood.
Either way, if you knock Argentina out of your path during this tournament, then you have a serious chance of securing the ultimate glory.
