Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after they were linked with a move for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.
What’s the story with Tielemans?
According to Goal, Arsenal have a long-term interest in Tielemans, and they’ve even met with his agents at London Colney.
The Belgian midfielder is out of contract in 18 months’ time, and it’s thought that he may be allowed to leave the King Power Stadium in the summer if the Foxes can’t get him to agree to new terms in the coming months.
Arsenal are in for a new midfielder this month, with Arthur Melo strongly linked, but it seems as though Tielemans could be a more long-term solution for the Gunners in the centre of the park.

Tielemans could be an absolutely brilliant signing for Arsenal.
The Gunners have been lacking a truly technically brilliant midfielder for quite some time, and while Tielemans isn’t the most mobile of footballers, he’s an incredible passer and his football IQ is off the charts.
At the age of just 24, this player still has a lot of room to grow and improve, and in this free-flowing Arsenal side he could be an absolute star.
Of course, whether or not Arsenal manage to lend the Belgian remains to be seen, but if they do, it could be one of the greatest purchases Edu ever makes.
