Young Celtic defender Josh Kerr is out of contract this summer and has been heavily linked with a move to Brighton.
HITC Sport understands Brighton have agreed to sign the young defender on a free transfer.
Last night he dropped a possible hint he is indeed heading for the exit.
Brighton’s home ground, The Amex Stadium
Kerr joined in the celebrations at Celtic Park on Sunday after their 2-0 victory against Hearts, even though he was not part of the matchday squad.
He sent a message out on Twitter hours later, hailing the experience, and also suggesting his time at the club has ‘been a pleasure’.
Young defender Kerr, 19, has been a regular for Celtic’s under-20 side and The Mail report he is expected to begin with Brighton’s under-23 squad if he does indeed make the switch.
Kerr’s future will become clear once his contract expires on June 30.
He has one first team appearance to his name in 2015 in the SFA Cup but did not feature under Brendan Rodgers at all.
