Jermaine Beckford has hit back at Alan Brazil on Twitter for suggesting that Leeds United could get relegated from the Premier League.

Former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur forward Brazil, who now works as a presenter and pundit on talkSPORT, is not convinced by Leeds.

The Scotsman believes that Marcelo Bielsa’s side are still in danger of going down to the Championship despite their impressive performances and results this season.

Former Leeds striker Beckford has hit back at Brazil and has given his take on the prospect of the Whites going down to the second tier of English football.

Too good to go down?

Of course, no team is too good to go down, but the signs are very positive for Leeds indeed.

The Whites have played brilliantly so far this season, and winning against Everton and drawing with Manchester City shows just how good they are.

Leeds are 12th in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from 10 matches, just four points behind fourth-placed Leicester City.

The Whites will return to action on Saturday evening when they take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League.
