Luciano Becchio and Jermaine Beckford formed a formidable partnership at Leeds under Simon Grayson.

Former Leeds United target man Luciano Becchio has sent a heartfelt Instagram message to Jermaine Beckford, eight years after the latter decided to leave Elland Road to join Everton.
Beckford and Becchio formed a deadly partnership under the guidance of Simon Grayson at Leeds, as Argentinian striker Becchio joined from Spanish side Merida in 2008.

The duo amassed an incredible 100 goals in 197 games between them during two years in which Leeds dug in and gained promotion back into the Championship at the end of 2009-10. Beckford then joined Premier League side Everton.
Looking back on his achievements alongside strike partner Beckford, Becchio showed his softer side by posting a message to Beckford, saying: “I miss you bro”.
Becchio, now 34, remained at Elland Road for another three years after Beckford’s departure before leaving Leeds to join Norwich City – a move which saw Wales international Steve Morison move to Yorkshire.
The target man is a new signing with minnows CD Binissalem in the fourth tier of Spanish football, while Beckford continues to find the back of the net on a regular basis with eight goals in 15 League One appearances for Bury.
