Speaking on his TikTok page, Jose Enrique has picked his XI to start for Liverpool against Tottenham.
Enrique has picked a similar team to the one we have predicted ahead of the match, but there is one noticeable difference.
Indeed, the Spaniard says he would choose Ibrahima Konate to start at centre-half ahead of Joel Matip due to the pace of Heung-Min Son.
Son is one of the fastest players in the Premier League, and according to Enrique, Konate would be able to deal with that better than Matip.
What’s been said?
Enrique spoke about how Liverpool should line up against Spurs.
“This would be my starting line-up against Tottenham. Alisson obviously, Robertson, Van Dijk and then I would play Konate instead of Matip because of Sonny’s pace, I believe that Konate is faster than Matip so for this game I would choose Konate and then Trent obviously,” Enrique said.

Pros and cons
We can see where Enrique is coming from. After all, Konate is genuinely one of the quickest players in England.
However, there is so much more to playing at centre-back for Liverpool than being quick.
Matip has barely put a foot wrong all season, he’s brilliant at bringing the ball out from the back and he knows how to hold the high line in a much more disciplined way than Konate.
Matip himself is no slouch, but as Enrique says, Konate does have the pace advantage between the pair, and with Son constantly running in behind, speed will be a massive factor in this game.
Jurgen Klopp has a difficult decision to make ahead of this one.
