Liam Cooper has taken to Twitter to react after Leeds announced that Stuart Dallas had signed a new contract at Elland Road.
What’s the story?
Well, the 30-year-old has penned a new three-year deal in Yorkshire, after enjoying a quite stunning 2020/21 campaign in the Premier League.
Dallas scored eight goals in 38 Premier League appearances, including a memorable double against Manchester City in a 2-1 win.
The 56-cap Northern Ireland international’s efforts saw him scoop up three major honours at the club’s end-of-season awards.
Dallas won Goal of the Season, Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year to crown what was arguably the best campaign of his career.

After hearing the news, Cooper sounded very happy.
The Leeds captain took to Twitter to describe the announcement as ‘beautiful’ in a four-word tweet.
In our view, this is one of the best signings Leeds will make this summer.
Dallas is absolutely vital to Marcelo Bielsa. The Leeds No.15 filled in all over the pitch last season, appearing in five different positions.
As Transfermarkt shows, the former Brentford man played at left-back, right-back, right-midfield, centre-midfield and attacking-midfield.
Hopefully, Dallas can kick on and become even better in 2021/22 – if that’s even possible.
