Some Real Sociedad supporters would welcome a move for Leeds United for Diego Llorente.
Llorente could complete a move to Leeds as early as Tuesday, and is likely to cost somehwere in the region of €15-20 million (£13.8-18.4m), according to Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
The 27-year-old has played 88 timed for La Real since his 2017 move from Real Madrid and won all but one of his five Spain caps in that time.
But he was left out of Sunday’s 0-0 draw against his former employers and looks to have played his final game for the Basques.
As far as the following Real Sociedad fans are concerned, that is far from a bad thing.
“Hopefully”
“First win of the season”
“What a beautiful day it has remained.”
“GOOD MORNING”
“Well, (the author, Mikel) Recalde confirms it too. > 20 million for a center-back who has been very far from the level required of an absolute international. Although I have the hunch that he can do very well at Leeds”
“More than 20M.”
“Make it quick, please”

Llorente would provide Leeds with another option in which they are currently short, with Robin Koch and Liam Cooper their only experienced centre-backs.
Reports of the Whites’ interest follow claims in the Croatian media that Josko Gvardiol, another of Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s rumoured targets, has agreed to join RB Leipzig (24 Sata).
Llorente has twice appeared alongside the Leeds striker Rodrigo for Spain.
