West Ham United have reportedly joined Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Steven N’Zonzi.

According to a report from French media outlet Le 10 Sport, West Ham have joined London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham in the race to sign Steven N’Zonzi, and if they manage to win the race for the midfield powerhouse, what a superb signing he could turn out to be for the Hammers.
The 29-year-old joined Sevilla from Stoke City in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £7 million, and he has since gone on to establish himself as one of the continent’s best ball-winning midfielders.
N’Zonzi is a key target for north London pair Arsenal and Tottenham this summer, according to Spanish media outlet AS, and if West Ham manage to win the race for his signature, it would be a real statement of intent from Manuel Pellegrini.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
The Hammers are in desperate need of a physical presence in the middle of the park, and the France international fits the bill perfectly.
Standing at 6ft 5in tall, the Sevilla ace possesses the ability to dominate a game from midfield, and his energy and drive would provide West Ham with a renewed sense of vigour and dynamism.

According to a report from AS, the La Liga side are willing to sell N’Zonzi for €35 million (£31 million) this summer, and that would represent decent value in today’s day and age.
West Ham are expected to challenge for the Europa League places this season, and if they manage to beat Tottenham and Arsenal to N’Zonzi’s signature, they will surely be in a great position to do just that.
