Arsenal winger Willian labelled John Terry a ‘legend’ on Instagram after he was reminiscing about beating Tottenham during his days as a player.

The now-Aston Villa coach shared that ‘desire is what I have over most’ as he shared a clip of him scoring for Chelsea during their 2-0 win against Spurs in the 2015 League Cup final.

Willian, who is now on the other side of London, started that day, as Jose Mourinho had just claimed his first trophy since returning to England.

This is what Terry posted on Instagram, with several players, including Willian, Cesc Fabregas and Gabby Agbonlahor responding.

The latter, who played alongside Terry at Villa, wrote, ‘Spicy capital letters part’ added with the eyes emoji.

Fast forward to today, and things have changed in a pretty interesting way.

Now, Jose is weeks away from hoping he lifts his first trophy with Spurs in that very same competition.

Whilst Willian is also hoping to bring some light into this quite miserable season for Arsenal and help them either finish in the European places or win the Europa League itself.

As for Terry, he is making a name for himself on Villa’s coaching staff, as they are hoping to pip the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and potentially Chelsea to a European finish at the end of the campaign.
