Arsenal boss called out his own supporters last week but his side leapfrogged a losing Tottenham at the weekend.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger caused controversy last week when he urged supporters to follow the lead of Tottenham fans by backing their team, SkySports reported.
Yet it has been easy for Tottenham fans in recent weeks to do so – the last time they lost a game was in early December, while Arsenal had lost their previous two matches.
This was reversed at the weekend as Tottenham flopped against Liverpool, looking well short of their best and were undone by a quickfire first half double from the excellent Sadio Mane.

Arsenal fans may find it noteworthy that Tottenham supporters were quick to voice their unhappiness at proceedings, even calling out and criticising popular head coach Mauricio Pochettino and his gameplan.
Fortunately there were no Arsenal TV style rantings, but there were plenty to felt their esteemed manager has plenty to learn.
Wenger intimated that Tottenham’s supporters were doing over the past few weeks was unique, but at the weekend they fell into the same trappings as Arsenal fans… simply expressing frustration that their side was not winning.
At the Emirates these feelings have built up over a considerable amount of time, with Arsene Wenger unable to get his side close to matching the high standards he set during his first eight seasons at the club.
