Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Goal’s Charles Watts revealed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not injured.

What’s the story?

Well, there was a bit of panic among Arsenal fans earlier this week, when the £250,000-a-week man left the Gabon camp earlier than expected.

However, as Watts reveals, his early exit from international duty was already agreed with Gabon, so there are no injury fears.

The reason for his early exit is not disclosed.

Despite that, Watts reassures the Emirates Stadium faithful by claiming that Aubameyang is “fine” to face Liverpool on Saturday.

What a relief for Arsenal fans.

The 32-year-old has been pivotal throughout Arsenal’s ten-game unbeaten run, and Mikel Arteta will be delighted to have him available.

Last season, the £56m man was quite underwhelming for the Gunners, scoring just ten Premier League goals.

Aubameyang already has four Premier League goals this season, and has netted seven in 11 games across all competitions.

In our view, this could have something to do with fans being allowed back inside stadiums.

Aubameyang is an entertainer, a crowd pleaser, someone who often engages with fans and seems to thrive off their support.

In that respect, it must’ve hit him hard to play inside empty stadiums for the entirety of last season – it’s good to see him back scoring goals.

For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about Aubameyang…
