The Norway international looks set to leave Sheffield United this summer after their seemingly inevitable relegation, and while the likes of Tottenham and Aston Villa have been linked, Liverpool have now entered the race.
As you can imagine, Reds supporters had plenty to say about this potential signing.
Despite the fact Berge looks destined for relegation this season, plenty of Liverpool fans are excited about the prospect of signing him this summer.
Let’s not forget that Berge was incredibly highly-rated when he was at Genk, and the Reds have a history of unlocking the potential of this sort of player.
Of course, they will face stiff competition, but with Georginio Wijnaldum potentially leaving the Merseyside club this summer, Berge could be an adequate replacement.
